A Positive and Integrative Approach to Emotional and Mental Health

PAT YODER, PhD founded Alternatives for Healthy Living in 1993 in order to incorporate approaches to body, mind, and spirit within her practice as a psychologist. Currently Alternatives for Healthy Living -- A4HL -- incorporates traditional and non-traditional methods to help you to live a healthier, fuller, and happier life.  We have gone through many transitions in these years and are now moving into a new era where we hope to include many healing modalities.

Dr. Pat Yoder specializes in therapy for Law Enforcement officers experiencing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other emotional issues.

National Concerns of Police Survivors, provides resources to assist in the rebuilding of the lives of surviving families and affected co-workers of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty as determined by Federal criteria. Furthermore, C.O.P.S. provides training to law enforcement agencies on survivor victimization issues and educates the public of the need to support the law enforcement profession and its survivors.

The Officer Down Memorial Page, Inc., (ODMP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring America's fallen law enforcement heroes. More than 19,000 officers have made the ultimate sacrifice in the United States and it is with great honor that the ODMP pays a lasting tribute to each of these officers by preserving their memories within its pages. All who visit the ODMP will be deeply moved by the countless stories of selfless courage and heroism exhibited by officers who lost their lives while serving and protecting the citizens of this great nation.
